Has this happened to you?
You’re turned on.
You’re mind is aroused.
But, your penis is…. taking a break.
It can be scary and confusing when something like this happens. Suddenly, it’s as if you have no control over your own penis.
I’m here to help you conquer your erectile dysfunction and will be sharing 5 simple suggestions you can try today!
What is E.D. & Why does it happen?
E.D. occurs when a person with a penis cannot acquire or keep an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse.
In the U.S. alone more than 30 million men have erectile dysfunction (ED).
Most commonly, E.D. is related to circulation and blood pressure.
Common medical ailments in our world today, such as heart disease, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure, and the medication that treats each of these, can impact the amount of blood flowing to the penis. Without strong blood flow, the penis is unable to fully reach a rigid state.
People with diabetes can also suffer from E.D. because of how this disease may damage nerves and blood vessels. And for men over the age of 60, age can slow blood flow capacity, which can make full erections almost impossible.
With men especially, day-to-day stress can also be a direct cause of erectile dysfunction because it can interfere with hormone levels.
Regardless of the reason, E.D. can make you feel powerless.
I’m here to help you Empower Your Penis!
There are a few ways that you can better manage your erectile dysfunction. Whether you used these suggestions in conjunction with medication is up to you. But my advice is for you to try a few of my recommendations to see what works best for you personally.
#1 – The Best Sex Position for E.D.
There is a sex position that can work best for men experiencing E.D.
I most often suggest their partners be on top. In this position men can stimulate their partners with their hands during penetration, which can lead to more pleasure for their partners. This also allows their partner to be in a position where the penis is more firmly in position if only semi-erect.
#2 – Drink More Water
Studies by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine determined that men should aim to drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of water a day. Water can help hydrate you and your erection, and keep your energy levels up since sexual stimulation can definitely deplete strength.
#3 – Have a Stamina Snack
Chia seeds are known to boost energy and rebuild stamina for men.
#4 – Intimate Exercise
I recommend regular intimate exercise to strengthen muscles in the pelvic floor, thereby helping to prevent the effects of erectile dysfunction.
Men have a pubococcygeus muscle or PC muscle. This muscle is responsible for keeping the pelvic floor strong. Strength is important because these muscles give support to lower organs, such as the bladder and bowel.
But the best part is--exercising the pelvic floor can also help elevate penis strength. This extra strength not only boosts sex play enjoyment, it gives a man more control over his penis and can help him extend his erection time.
The easiest way to exercise male PC muscles is to take a cloth and drape it over the penis. Then, “bounce” his penis up and down by tightening his PC muscles. This towel can be dampened to add additional weight as the pelvic floor muscles begin to strengthen.
Intimate exercises can increase blood flow to the genital area, which can help keep your penis healthy.
#5 – Serious Hardware
Just like James Bond uses essential gadgets and gear to complete his missions, sometimes the best way to combat the effects of E.D. is to call in countermeasures.
Vacuum Penis Pumps can be a helpful erectile dysfunction solution that requires no medication or surgery.
According to the National Health Services, nine out of ten men using vacuum pumps are able to have sex regardless of the underlying cause of erectile dysfunction. And, although there are limited studies about the effectiveness of personal pumps, a study by the Translational Andrology and Urology Journal has shown that vacuum erectile device therapy reliably improves erectile function in 84-95% of patients.
To get started, I suggest a basic vacuum penis pump.
How does a vacuum penis pump work? The cylinder is placed over the shaft of the penis and pressed against skin to create an air-tight seal. Then, air is vacuumed out of the cylinder by squeezing the bulb and the suction created draws blood into the penis, thereby engorging the shaft into a rigid state.
- Tip: Operate the vacuum pump device in a slow and steady manner.
After obtaining an erection, the vacuum suction can be removed by operating the quick release valve or by using a finger to break the seal around skin and the base of the cylinder.
It’s also worthy for me to share that using a pump can be quite pleasurable because the suction can feel a lot like oral stimulation. So, you may find your new pump to be one of your favorite new pastimes.
Erection Cock Rings are a perfect partner for penis pumps.
Used alone, or in conjunction with a vacuum penis pump, an erection cock ring can help you keep or extend your erection. Seriously.
A stretchy cock ring can be slid down the penis shaft and placed at the base of the penis. The erection ring restricts blood flow, keeping the shaft stiffly engorged and able to perform sexual intercourse.
- Tip: An erection ring should never be worn for longer than 20-30 minutes at a time.
Cock rings can also be worn around testicles to help extend an erection. And, if you’re looking to provide your partner with additional pleasure, a vibrating cock ring can be an excellent choice! The vibration basically makes your penis into a vibrator. I believe that should be considered a superpower.
Cock Cages are extended versions of cock rings.
Don’t be alarmed. I’m not talking about chastity cock cages where a penis is locked inside. I’m suggesting stretchy cock cages that are made to hug a larger portion of your penis shaft.
The length and stretchy support of a cock cage can help you keep your erection firmer, for a longer period of time. There are versions that can be simply slipped onto your penis shaft, and others have a built-in testicle ring that keeps the cage in place and also delays ejaculation by harnessing your scrotum. This is what I like to call a win-win situation.
- Tip: I recommend using a Water-Based Personal Lubricant to help your cock cage slide more easily on your penis shaft. Water-based lubrication formulas work well with all types of cock ring and cock cage materials.
Lubricants are a personal preference, but I advise taking time to learn about the different options that are available. And, if you have questions – please send them my way!
Penis Support Sleeves or extension sleeves are male enhancement devices that can help you maintain an erection longer or can serve as a splint for a semi-erect penis, allowing for a better sexual experience.
Many people think of extension sleeves adding length and/or girth to a penis. But they are an excellent option when looking for a way to have penetrative sex when experiencing a semi-soft penis.
- Tip: Choosing a penis extension sleeve with an attached testicle ring can help keep the sleeve firmly in place during thrusting.
Quick Recap: 5 Ways to Empower Your Penis
In this article you’ve learned the following information to help you manage and control the effects of erectile dysfunction.
- The best sex position is your partner on top.
- Drink plenty of water each day.
- Snack on chia seeds.
- Exercise your pelvic floor.
- Try erectile aid sex toys.
I’d like to share a couple of additional ways to help you with situations of E.D.
Find ways to help you reduce your stress. Keep in mind, sex toys and sexual release through ejaculation can help reduce stress by releasing oxytocin, a mood-elevating hormone.
Also remember that communication is important. Ask your partner for their support. Your honesty and openness can help create a strong relationship bond.
