Hogtied Bind & Tie Hemp Bondage Rope in 30'/9m

This rope is great for rope play, it s just as described! Long and not uncomfortable to use in rope play.

I've only ever used a cotton rope and this particular rope, this is definitely a great quality rope for the price! I'd recommend Doc Johnson's hemp rope to anybody looking to try out hemp rope. I first bought the 50ft thinking I'd need more, but 30ft is best to start, I have 3 all together! Great little set.

These ropes are great if you are looking to start doing shibari and rope bondage. They are quite soft and the length is ok.

The quality of the rope is alright and it s preprocessed, but the whippings, which are the small black ties around the ends of the rope that keep the cord from unraveling, are really poor quality.

I ve had two ends unravel without much use, so I had to retwist a couple feet of strands and rope then replace the whippings that broke. Since then I ve replaced all the whippings just in case.

If you buy this rope, buy some decent machine thread, fishing line, round dental floss, or purpose made whipping cord, then tie a whipping knot over the existing whipping before use.

Although I haven't tried the very high-end brands, this is probably the best rope I've used, and the price can't be beat (seriously, go try). The rope has a very nice "hand" to it, light and soft to the touch but stiff enough to hold knots securely. Definitely worth the money.

Natural colour is nice, but for added contrast against skin, pick up some fabric-reactive dye at your local art supply shop.

The rope feels really nice, it's a good length and perfect width for your average shibari body bind. The rope is pre-treated and quite soft so it doesn't have to be boiled. The ropey smell is also quite faint, more so than a lot of other hemp ropes. A decent price for what you get length wise and quality wise
