It might kill bacteria but so does warm water with a little bit of soap which I've found works the same. The cleaner is just an extra step to insure safe use next time you go to use a toy

im really sensitive to scents and am very picky with "unscented" products, but this is truly unscented. quick little mist and rinse like the bottle says after use and i feel so much safer knowing everything is clean
